Porifera
Porifera’s are sponges, not the type you use to clean the dishes, they are multicellular organisms with bodies full of pours, allowing them to channel water through them. They always live in water and there are over 9,000 species of sponge. Sponges are sessile animals, meaning they do not move around. Sponges eat floating particles that are in the water, this is where there pours come in handy. Sponges are the only multicellular organism without a nervous system.
