Ascaris lumbricoides
A. lumbricoides is about 30cm long and 3-6mm in diameter. It's nervous system is similar to that of C. Elegans, containing ganglia instead of a brain and nerve cords. A. lumbricoides also has sensilla, which are sensory organs that protrude from the body. A. lumbricoides is also the largest and most common parasitic worm in humans.
