Human Nervous system
Humans, like most others in the chordata Phylum, have a central nervous system as well as a peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system includes the brain and all the nerves along the spinal chord. The peripheral nervous system includes all of the nerves and nerve tissue extending from the spinal chord. The peripheral nervous system is divided into those nerves that we voluntarily controlled by our brain and those that work involuntarily. These two are called our autonomic nervous system and our stomatic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is responsible for movements in our body such as our heart beat and digestion. Our stomatic nervous system is responsible for voluntary muscle movements in our body such as working out, eating, or walking. |
